Tomorrow, we are launching SatireDay with 15 terrific events all poking fun at life and the uncertain times we face in this mad, mad world. Belfast is noted for its sardonic wit so this theme fits much of our programme including the shows tomorrow featuring the Rubberbandits, Michelle & Arlene, Bill Hicks: Relentless, our Kate Bush dance parody and Alternative Bedtime Stories - to name but a few! Don't forget our conference in the Mac will also explore the local comedy scene including humour and conflict. So join us in having a laugh and satirising the powers that shape our world. Fern Brady

Fern Brady – Belfast Comedy Festival 2017

plus guests Ger Staunton, Matthew McAloone, John Meagher & Daryl McCabe

THE AMERICAN BAR, DOCK STREET

For the last weekend of of the festival, we’re bringing the thunder to the portside at the iconic American Bar.

Fern Brady takes a break from TV shows like 8 out of 10 Cats and national tours to close the show, supported by the awesome Irish trio of Ger Staunton, John Meagher and Belfast’s own Matthew McAloone.

And to add to the action, once the comedy is over we’ll move straight into some live music with Northern Ireland Folk institution Daryl McCabe taking to the stage.

You know a good night when you read one, so have at it and we’ll see you there!

In association with Big and Clever.
