Tomorrow, we are launching SatireDay with 15 terrific events all poking fun at life and the uncertain times we face in this mad, mad world. Belfast is noted for its sardonic wit so this theme fits much of our programme including the shows tomorrow featuring the Rubberbandits, Michelle & Arlene, Bill Hicks: Relentless, our Kate Bush dance parody and Alternative Bedtime Stories - to name but a few! Don't forget our conference in the Mac will also explore the local comedy scene including humour and conflict. So join us in having a laugh and satirising the powers that shape our world. by Sinéad Nora & Stevo Timothy

‘The ‘Tae Pot’ Tour’ comes to Belfast Comedy Festival featuring internet viral sensations Farmer Michael and Kathleen acting out their infamous sketches alongside a number of other well-known comedians – impressionist Shane Cunningham, Show Me The Funny winner Johnny Graham and comedic storyteller Paul David Murphy.

Enjoy a culchie night out with Farmer Michael & his long suffering wife Kathleen as they discuss all well known world topics – from Donald Trump, to Caitlyn Jenner, Leo Varadkar to Lady GaGa, and a couple of their well known cover songs too. After only 2 years on the comedy scene, Stevo and Sinéad have gathered a following of over 167,000 people worldwide, and over 2 million views on some of their sketches. The King and Queen of farming satire may offend some but aren’t planning on quitting any time soon!
